I'm hijacking this thread - not much loss since it was pointless anyway - because as I was sitting here waiting for the game to load in order to see what exactly made it post-worthy... and waiting... and waiting... I was reminded of the "come and go" lag on this site. It occurs to me that these games take a huge toll on the server, with a log that is god knows how much larger than what the game engine is designed to handle.
There are probably just enough of these games floating around in an "active state" to be like little potholes on an otherwise pretty decent highway. If you are trying to play in your normal, no-nonsense game when someone in a game like this just happens to be taking a turn, or, god forbid, auto attacking through the entire dice file, and the server is accessing one of these mega-logs, be prepared to wait about 2 minutes for the server to get back to you (that's how long it took for me to just load the game just to look at it).
Something should be done about this issue. People talk about having program rules for stalemate, and that gets shot down. But something is needed. I'm not for ending a game by force on someone, but I think you can force someone to attack... i.e., at some ungodly number like 10,000 armies, you just should stop getting more armies and go right into attack mode when you start your turn. You either have to skillfully use whatever advantage you've been able to build up by then to wind down as the winner, or else the other people catch up to you and you lose... too bad.
Seriously... games like this shouldn't be wrecking the experience for the rest of us who have given up on freestyle, etc. b/c the site response is so flaky.

Granted, that game looks fucking stupid, but there really are legit ones where attacking is not the best option and you're really just hanging around waiting for someone to make the first move, of course, my games of that kind haven't gone much above 3k armies in any one spot yet and I'm quite curious to see how long that attack will take.

Uninstall BOB and then try again.
I just did and it loaded straight away.
Your point is taken about the never-ending games, but I think the site gets a raw deal when actually it's
a superb engine.
