Jeez...it just gets worse and worse. Now the historical gameplay ratings are all zeroes out (which affects the overall score) and nothing is stopping frivolous tag abuse. Why does this shit just get shoved down our throat, anyway? I don't recall seeing any heads up about this at all?

Seriously, $25 may not be a lot of money to some, but I enjoyed the system the way it was. The ratings is a legit part of the gameplaying experience and you just keep making it worse and worse. Do you have any regard for the user community here?

I can't wait for bitter idiots to put totally bogus negative tags on the zeroes now. Seriously, if you're going to do this, you might as well just go back to freeform ratings comments.

I thought the whole purpose of going to stars only was to make it simpler and less controversial for everyone, players and mods alike.

Well, it did get more and more complex, which I don't like...

You realize of course that a 0 merely means unrated, it does not count towards the totals.

No, all of your former numerical ratings in that category have now been zeroed out, whether they were a 4 or a 1, so it DOES affect the overall rating. I went from a 4.5 to a 4.4 with no new actual ratings.

If you want to be taken seriously, you should change the topic subject. Dropping the F bomb will only attract the wrong kind of attention to your thread...

I think the new ratings system is the product of about 30 pages of posts over a month or so. SO maybe CC doesn't listen to YOU, but they listen.

maybe if u wanted the rating system how u liked, u should have voiced ur opinion on the rating redevelopment thread more.

bollocks to you. As ususal sprouting bs. They listen to what they want to hear! Furthermore, this new addons confused me, let alone a new player. New players have difficulty in understanding the game, so now we add onto this burden by complicating the feedback system!?!?!

I will post this in here as well. There were never any gameplay ratings, this is a new category. Teamwork has been changed to a tag. Attendance has been automated. That is how your rating changed, nothing was zeroed.

Yes, there was the thread at the top of this forum "Ratings Reloaded". That thread has been around for a while.

Zeros do not count against you, they are not averaged in.

This seems about right... That is why this feedback system is worthless even with the updates.

I have some 1,s from Mystique (remember the cheater with multiple accounts that paid his way out?) i told him in a game that he was a cheater and in revanche i got 1,s. In the old way i would have it removed. Now it's a bit better coz i can write something with the score he gave me.

I feel it's a bit better, but i do think the old system had a more personal touch and you could actually write anything you thought about the game in play.

Fun thing is i can call Nesterdude a loser and a coward in this system. Which i did offcourse

I've not played everyone, but I'm sure some people with sub 4.0 overall ratings are people to avoid.
Why not make this another Premium perk to allow shit players to either play non premium or be forced to start their own games?

I don't want to have to play every idiot and then stick them on ignore to avoid playing them again

why do we need the ratings ? most players are between 4.7 - 5.0, so what's the point ? do you not play somebody because he is a 4.6 ? what if they join after you ? i think it is a whole lot of wasted time arguing over something unimportant..how about a simple would you play this person again, yes or no ? and we use that ..

95% of the time it is a suicide or a terrible play. Both are bad.

Well, please create a category called Stupidity and rate me a "5" in it, because I didnt' even realize "Gameplay" didn't exist before. On further reflection, I do actually like this better than the more recent incarnation. I am a stupid tool.

I like being able to respond to the feedback with the facts. I was even honest enough to agree when it was deserved.

you were off topic, about a personal spat between the two of you, because he mentioned you as an example of abuse of the system (and he was spot on, too, with what you left him, ahem...). sooo, don't even try to act like you were on topic in your defense of what you did. and i just nudged you to drop it so it could remain on topic for those of us that care. and, i do not have an opinion about it, because none of the opinions i had were implemented. i like that you can comment on what people have left, but it doesn't take care of the abuse aspects of it all OR how to get abusive ratings removed.-0

p.p.s.-calling someone a TOOL is not the way to keep it on topic, it is a way to derail a thread. name calling is not for the GD. it doesn't raise the level of discourse, and encourages poor behaviour from other members that may view your actions as "the norm" in the GD. let's all police ourselves, and then the mods can spend their time on more important things.
