Conquer Club

In some maps you are supposed to be able to bombard your opponent, how does this work? In my case I play the "battle of actium" map and own large boats with the marked symbol neighbouring my opponents large boats with the same symbol, according to the map info I should be able to bombard then but I can't find any option like that anywhere, and I've seen my opponent use bombardment against me, so... where do I find this option? I can only attack normally as of now...

you do it in the same way you would a normal attack. Select it from the drop down and it will automatically bombard rather than attack.

I now got a bombardment but I wasn't able to actually occupy the opponent ship. I started out with 12 vs 3 and bombarded him neutral and took out 2 of his, leaving a score of 10 vs 1, but the whenever my roll won I just bombarded the last army and it remained neutral, while his wins caused losses for me so I ended up with 8 vs 1 unable to take his ship lol...

I'm guessing that's how its supposed to be but it seemed strange...

Yes- bombarding does not allow you to advance. It turns the territory to a single neutral. You can't ever conquer via bombarding.
