why not give private games its own category.tournaments have one.

Why?? What purpose would it serve? Idk, there might be a good reason for one, but I don't see it... :roll:

there is a join a private game category, why are they also listed in speed games.

Private games and speed games are not mutually exclusive. A private game can also be a speed game.
