Game 2892891 - iraq - serious question

Postby Geoff_with_a_G on Fri Aug 01, 2008 9:24 am

I won city of ramadi in a fair fight, and then i won the baathists of ramadi...and then i deployed 4 boys onto the baathists of ramadi...fine so far...but last two turns when i wanted to re-deploy some boys from baathists of ramadi back to ramadi city(or anywhere else) but when i get to the fortification stage (in this chained game) ramadi baathists is not one of the options in my drop-down list of places i can fortify from...i raised two help tickets and he/she is not familiar with the map so he/she asked me to go to the forum...does anyone know? have i found a bug? or is there anything with iraq that says i can't deploy out out ramadi baathists?...i see nothing on the text in front of the game that says i can't deploy from baathists to somewhere else...my turn ends in about 10 hours and i prob have to go to sleep soon...please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

once you adv to the baathists you're there, the baathists don't attack or do anything, it's basically an island and you're stuck there. that's why it's really pointless to adv or deploy armies there. you're stuck.

I don't know that map exceptionally well, but I do know that a lot of the loyalties, cannot attack or fort out.

umm, i typed this out about 10 minutes ago, and this site lost it, told me it saved it as a draft....i so do not believe it...so what i said is this - thank you for your advice, but it says nothing on the game-screen about baathists not being able to attack or deploy anywhere..can't remember exactly what i wrote ten mins ago but i feel somewhat cheated...anyway it's my turn and i'll make the best of what i've got...and i'm saving this unless the site loses me again, its loss

That area is a one-way attack. These mono-directional routes also apply to fortifying. You can fortify in, but not out.
