This should be in something like GD, not Q&A.

Sorry that took so long, I'm gonna go ahead and move it for ya now :)

I don't play them much because I haven't learned how to play them well. So far from what I've played I would have to say AoR2.

those maps do not appeal to me at all, in the least bit. the graphics and gameplay just are not my thing and are a huge turnoff on that trilogy for me. however, i know people love them, and it is going to be interesting to see what they say.-0

i'm not a big fan of them... haven't played more than 1 game on aor2 or aor3

i played like 10 on aor1 when it first came out i think...

in my opinion, 3 is the best though

I have played them all, at least once (most more), and I dislike the whole series.

The Age of Realms trilogy map is great, with a diffrent gameplay from all other maps.

It require more skill and less luck to win (this is a fact, if you disagree then you dont know what you are talking about)

But since its a so diffrent gameplay, then many dislike it. Becuase it "isnt risk", myself i love the maps. Well.. not AoR1, that one sucks for anything but 1v1 games. But the other 2 are great.

I guess i should pick a favorite aswell, then i have to say Age of Realms: Magic (2). It's the most balanced one of the 3.

Aor1 is my favourite, it's also good for multiplayer games moosey.

aor2 I dislike since there's too much luck in volved, luckiest player to get rps and vilages wins

aor3 has a bit more luck but i don't like the graphics

Very very wrong. It's less about luck than "normal" maps.

fun

also best player with luck in aor2 wins you know that. you can be struggling in borun then the guy with better dice in aoria comes down and owns you. it's like that.

Then you haven't played AoR2 much then, becuase what i hear from you is that its all about luck, no skill. But its way more about skill than about luck. Simply a fact.

I won't continue this discussion, becuase it's just stupid to discuss something which i know im right about.

PS. You have won 42% of your 19 - 4,5,6-player standard games on AoR2... i guess thats just pure luck from your side??

nah there's skill too but if all players know what to do then it's mainly luck.

I agree that AOR2 (Magic) is the most balanced. If you are playing 2 or 3 player on AOR1 (Might) and someone starts with Aoria, the game is over since the dock is touching the castle. It is a little better if there are more people, but Aoria is almost an auto win. AOR3 (Mayhem) seemed to be very unbalanced when I played it. If someone starts with Sanctuary and goes first it is an auto win. If they go last, they pretty much lose.

2 more armies to dock

2 armies make a world of difference?

Yes, it is an extra territory to conquer. That is one more virgin you need to sacrifice to the dice gods. And being on the port in that game gives you a huge advantage, since no castle is more than 3 territs from a port.
