In order to win a freestyle speed game it seems that if you don't have clickable maps you may as well pack the bag and head home.
That being said, are clickable maps simply a part of the progression of CC (ie better technology, faster internet etc make for a better style of game) or are these tools replacing the strategy and art of the game. In other words is the old school style of Risk dead and forgotten or has it simply been improved.
As we have seen from the forums, there has been much debate about the abilities of different players and whether they would have the ranks they do if it was not for clickable maps.
As such, I was wondering what everyone's take is on this subject. Are clickable maps the way to go or the last bastion of the damned?
Should CC remain the pure game it once was where a person’s strategy and tactics were the deciding factors for a game or should we crown the player with the fastest internet, newest version of clickable maps and the most up to date plug-ins as the ultimate CC player?
Ok people lets have your thoughts.
