Weird stuff

I logged in this morning and found that I had apparently made a really stupid move in one of my games. The thing is, I don't remember ever making that move, so I'm thinking that maybe I was hacked or something. So far all of my other games look okay, so perhaps it's just faulty memory that's the problem.

I remember Windows Live Messenger sending me to this different page when I wanted to check my e-mail. It asked me for an alternate e-mail address and my password. You think that could've been it? It looked pretty legit.

Man, I use the same password for everything. If I really was hacked it's gonna be a bitch to reset everything.

It's *probably* just faulty memory, and every now and then MSN asks me for my password too, so... But if you're really paranoid, change your passwords, don't let your browser save your passwords, and have different passwords for everything. That's what I do.

I think I'll chalk it up to faulty memory, but I'm still wary until someone else confirms that they got the "Windows Live Messenger needs an alternate e-mail in case you lose your password" page before, too.

Run a virus/trojan scan on your computer. If that doesn't find anything substantial and you think that someone may have logged into your account, submit an e-ticket via the Help menu.
