Seriously.
Gentlemen, does playing against the fairer sex affect your play at all?
Do you find yourself protecting a female player perhaps? Do you leave her a card out of chivalry?
Given a choice, would you attack a guy first before a girl? Or, would you take a girl out first to avoid the possibility of being beaten by one?

And ladies, do you favour the gents? Get rid of any rival females first; or are you more about girl power?

Or, do you treat everyone equally, regardless of gender?

Just how big a role, if any, does sex play in this war game?

Id have to say 99% of the time i dont know im playing a girl until after the game so i cant say i notice a difference... with the exception of H2SY... she beats me...

Dunno about you, but when the act of sex is concerned gender definitely matters for me! Perhaps you're still silently reminiscing the 80s (where a gal looked like a guy and vice versa).

i like sex, so to me sex matters. i dont see how that has anything to do with cc though?

ok now for the serious answer: no. sometimes i even have so many games going that i don't check which color corresponds to which name. i also dont favor my friends in this game. i always play to win, and if i have to eliminate a mate first on that way, well, then he will have to go.
the only way in which i favor friends is that i like to play teamgames with them. certainly not a sin, right?

seeing as how most of the girls on this site aren't really girls, but people that put up sexy avatars, it doesn't really matter. of the few girls i do know that are real, they are all great players and wonderful doubles partners... and as far as nate talking about H2SY, he has forgotten that FWLB kicked the s*** out of him to win the CC Boys vs. Girls Tournament for the Title!!!-0

I remember quit a few years ago at a game convention playing in a Sports Illustrated Bowl Bound(American Football) tournament. One of my opponents was a rather attractive young woman who had a habit of unbuttoning a couple buttons on her blouse when she was losing. Needless to say that was a mountain I couldn't conquer. After a couple more wins she lost with her bra practically showing. Found out later her last opponent was gay.

No. Doesn't matter at all to me.

But if the game gets chatty/flirty with other players of the opposite sex, I will adjust to put up more forces to containing the girl because I expect that the guy will favor her, hammer me, and I want to be sure there is no option of the guy giving the game to the girl by suicide on me. If Mr. flirt suicides on me, I suicide on Ms. flirt, and the boring guy who didn't chat at all gets the game.

I'm not suggesting that's unfair, probably just an extension of that same dynamic as it generally plays out in face to face interaction.
