Game Instructions Ad-Hoc Group Callout

Bombardment, Flat-Rate, Adjacent, Fog of War, Foe/Friend List, Assassin

Do you know what the above words mean?
Do you have an interest in creating a better set of Game/Site instructions for Conquer Club?

Can you create screenshots and help with a tutorial for new members?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, We Want You!!

The Game Instructions Ad-Hoc is designed to rewrite the instructions for game types/options, along with explaining how to do simple user activities (use an avatar, put someone on the foe list; etc)

Interested?

pm jennifermarie stating how you think you can help and why you want to assist in the rewrite.

Sorry, but this sounds like a massive waist of time... a poor attempt to overcome the fact that "?'s" on this site are like baby turtles running from the monitor lizards on a beach and if they're lucky 1 in 20 will get to the toolies before they become somebody's lunch.

So before you create a giant "how to" manual that nobody is going to read, maybe (1) let noobs start out with a pre-set number of speed games so they can get the instant gratification of playing a few games RT when they first show up on the site and don't end up becoming habitual deadbeaters, (2) rework the 'find' and 'join' logic, as well as map selection on 'start games' pages for Noobs, and (3) include a link in the "initial PM" that everybody gets after their first game to the mentoring thread, and/or possibly the society of cooks threads, and, if you really care, (4) start out noobs with some natural defenses by putting the usual suspects who pwn noobs for points on every noobs ignore list, like a good web filter does for bad porn.

Good ideas gd.

I also think there should be less PMs when they join.
If you PM one of them they'll only ignore it because they think it's spam, one PM will do it.
They dont need a PM for "well done on joining a game" or such things as that.

Why not....I have an interest in the English Language. I have also helped younger members come into the club and even bought a few premiums for a few people. Count me in.
