why are we compensated for missing a turn.I don't think we should be compensated.A few miss turn on purpose to obtain more of army to fortify with. I think we shouldn't be compensated, just miss the turn and in future be careful.

Actually, you don't get extra armies, you get the same ones that you would have if you had played the turn.

He just used extra in the sense that it was more than the normal.. im sure he knows that. And its for the people who accidentally misses turns.. for example if your internet goes down for a day or something.. computer breaks.. some random problem comes up and you have to miss a turn.. people come back from missing turns all the time. It hurts them.. but the extra armies- or the deferred armies, is that better blake?- are just there to give people a little chance of staying in the game.

The only way I could ever imagine missing a turn could benefit you would be if you have 5 cards in escalating and are absolutely positive you'll survive (well, and not lose more armies than the increase in cash bonus) until the next time around. And that's certainly chancing it. You'd be a giant target with 5 cards and people might think you'll deadbeat when you miss a turn, making them even more likely to target you so they could get those cards without a resistance.

Yeah. And think: you can deploy the armies, and not attack, and still get the same amount. So why not? the big part is you also get CARDS. and make your position a lot stronger.
