i like this new "warning" on the create/find game page, it is a welcome change... but did they have to use the word "risk" in there? ha! anyway, maybe they should have used peril... quick definition of peril from the internets:

hazard: a source of danger; a possibility of incurring loss or misfortune; "drinking alcohol is a health hazard"
endanger: pose a threat to; present a danger to; "The pollution is endangering the crops"
riskiness: a state of danger involving risk
risk: a venture undertaken without regard to possible loss or injury; "he saw the rewards but not the risks of crime"; "there was a danger he would do the wrong thing"
queer: put in a dangerous, disadvantageous, or difficult position

anyway, although this change won't cut down on complaints people post/encounter on new maps, it will resolve the issue of people asking for game resets, points to be returned, etc... you basically are playing at your own peril and the maps are still evolving. bravo for the change, i for one like it.-0

p.s.-it isn't testing, but it is a step in the right direction.

agree... love how one thread and one quick simple solution which had a bit of oppostion, led to this quick and effective stop-gap solution... and kudos to all the new maps being grouped at the bottom of the maps page.-0

Good solution, but Vegas has the odds that people still complain at 2-to-1.

I haven't played any of the maps marked "Beta". Are they that much trouble?

i'm in game on the Prison Riot one. it didn't have Beta on it at the start, but just appeared today. oh well shit happens, i'm not doing to good anyway(assassin).

I can only imagine that whatever twit wrote that definition was thinking along the lines of perilous being a potential synonym for queer (in antiquated terms, at least).
