I've been playing for a while now, and I honestly havent found someone more cheap to play vs. gouverneurcc is a constant holder, and guys watch out, because he always plays with smith197 who even in freestyle games, team up to screw people over. Just thought i should warn you all.

nothing wrong with holding bud, and gouv and I are RW close friends, so we enjoy playing on here together. I was the one who told him about this wonderful site.
As for the 2 freestyle games we played together, we did have a truce for 2 turns but made it clear in a public manner. Aa far as I can see, I've been playing within the rules. If you dont like holding play sequential.

I have been breaking no rules, so nothing wrong......holding is not against the rules
As for the singles games...myself and SMITH made it clear right on the messages of the game that we were going to ally.

I played Smitty and Gov. Won't do that again Freestyle. I guess it's not cheating what they do, but it's kinda LowLife. They have WAY too much time on their hands.

I remember that game only too well, as I had a partner that was quitter after he made an inferior first move. I felt like I was basically playing by myself. These guys held to the last moment to be able to double turn. That type of game and play is TRASH in my opinion! But, that's MY opinion.

I'd play 'em Sequential. But, they would probably not have their asses handed to them in a basket......

Oops! This isn't the Flame Forum?

Smith and Governor: Please stay out of any of my games. I wish to not play with you. I play for fun in fair games with likeminded people.

uuumm well I guess people really don't like me...well it is just part of the game...you don't want people that hold there are ways to prevent such as sequential games.

i didn't know i'd pissed so many people off....I'm sry to everyone, but its just one style of game that can be played here. I completly understand if you dont want to play me or gouv anymore.

but the thing i wanna know is, who are you Dissolution and why do you care as you havn't played any games with me or Gouv? Just curious...

I have recently switched to playing only sequential games because of all the holding. But I am hoping Lack will code something to stop people from hold because I really enjoy freestyle games more.
But holding just takes all the fun out of freestyle.

Yeah, and because of holders sequential games (without deadbeats) are being faster than freestyle games

The site has made it interesting because its almost created a game that is totaly different from Risk. But i enjoy all types and styles of games offered here. To be honest with you guys, gouv and I try not to hold but because our schedules here at school and with athletics are so similar, we're often on the site at the same time and that inadvertantly leads to a force double turn, and that can resemble a hold. I know what you thinking...excuses excuses...thats cool, your right to i suppose. But thats whats going down, and i hope you understand...

I dont and never wanted bad blood with anyone....

The original message as posted by me Eruanna, but for some reason posted under my bros name.

And as for playing sequential, it doesn't solve anything, because half the time people don't even show up to play.

Your buddy gouverneurcc is having fun playing all by himself against me right now. He never held till the game was down to the two of us. He'd rather do that then get off his precious yellow status. And besides what's your business showing up in our game and commenting all the time?!?

I understand that your mad about the holding. But to be honest, there isn't any reason to drag me into this. I hold only when being held upon. I try to avoid the practice because of just this, bad blood between people that have no reason to be mad at each other. Gouv's my buddy and he showed me the game you were playing one day in the school computer lab. I checked it periodicly to see how he was doing. Didn't mean to offend. So as far as I can see, no rules have been broken and honorable reputations have been damaged.

thanks for that...

You weren't going either when we both had the chance...I figured you were going to hold also, so I just kept it up...not against the rules, so I don't see the problem.

Besides that game anyother time I hold is not on purpose....I am busy with my Senior Year in High School and keeping up my high GPA. I also play on a Club Ultimate Frisbee Team and I run Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track, so I am busy and can play when I get a free chance

holding is for bitches. You make this site less fun and you people have spread like cancer. go find some other webgame to ruin.

everyone realizes the advantage to holding. most just have the dignity not to try and exploit a glitch

No, that is cheating. That is very much so cheating. If you two know each other personally, and make an effort to play in the same games, that shit is planned out in advance. That's a secret alliance even if you annonuce it turn 1 in the chat. All diplomacy must be done in the chat. If you do any of it outside, that's against the rules. Clearly you two enter games with the intent of allying. It's hardly fair to other players. In game alliances are perfectly fair, because almost all of them end in betrayal. Two people who know each other personally know they won't betray each other until everyone else is dead. You can't claim that's an honest way to play games.

anytime hotgun, i always enjoy my games with you...even though u wipe the board with me!

Tucker, i have to disagree, 2 players on the same team in a doubles game do not have to make they're plans known in game chat. We've played all of 2 non team games together, one of which was with another friend, and in the other a two round truce on one boarder was called for 2 rounds. So I believe i can confidently claim its a fair way to play.

people! you are all sounding like old grannies. just because smith and gouvernourcc like to play with each other and make allies to win doesn't mean that you have to be a sore loser and make them feel bad.

Personally, I hated playing sequential games when I first started playing here. Now, all of my games are and will continue to be sequential games. Instead of changing the way freestyle games are now, I think the best thing to have still is options for the lengths of turns. There could be one solution that I haven't seen mentioned, though... Being able to make games where the turns end when they end and that is it. In other words, the turn wouldn't end when everyone has played, it would end at the end of the limit, which is currently 24 hours. The more options we have, the less we can complain, right?

noob? Check ur facts bud, we've been here longer than you.

I dont mind if people have an issue with the way we play, and i dont mind disuccing it with you all, that's what the forums are for. What really gets to me is the unfounded and untruthful crap that has been thrown at us. There is no need for that at all....
