What setting takes the most skill to win?

You know. Is it no cards with freestyle? Is it escalating sequential with chained? Or any of the many possibilities? Is it harder to win 1vs1 with no cards than a 2vs2 with escalating?

Many possibilities, share your thoughts. What do you think is the setting that takes the most skill? (Or the least.)

Flat rate, escalating or no cards?

Escalating has it for flair.

Flat rate has it for grit, patience and sheer determination

No cards has it for overall strategy.

I think 3 man to 8 man difficulty really depends on your playing style. For example, I feel comfortable in 5-8 man games but if it comes down to a fairly balanced 3 way fight, I find that very difficult indeed.

I find speed sequential slightly easier than casual as it not unusual for 1 or even 2 players to drop out if the game goes long.

I have little experience of freestyle so couldn't really comment upon it. It looks hard though. ;)
