So, here's the thing...

I'm hanging out in college, and I meet a few kids who we play cards with for a few days. We eventually got tired of that, so someone suggested we play Risk. Since we couldn't find a Risk board, I suggested we play on CC. Yeah, I got two new members hooked on the site. Unfortunately, one bought a premium membership without using my referral link, which made me mad, but whatever. I've been having a lot of fun playing with them, but I and somewhat frustrated by some of their strategies:
When we play 3-way games, they seem to gang up on me and I'm always the first one eliminated. It happened in three straight games today. One player, the one who is now premium, and really into CC, always seems to come out ahead, mostly because our third person will never attack a weak border to break up some big continent bonus. Both of their default moves seem to be to attack me and try to wipe me out of the game before I have my first set of cards even.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can say to them to make our games more enjoyable and fair?
Oh, and in a related issue, as soon as the game starts to go my way, they give up, and stop trying to win, and instead work pretty hard to get it over with as soon as possible. What should I do about that? I like them both a lot, and they are fun to play with until they start being jerks...

what you need to do is make a second user for yourself. this way the fight is two on two.

get into tipples team games with them then they are on your side and they will gang up on the others instead of on you

Or just find other people to play CC with and stay friends with them...if they keep pissing you off, how much longer will you be friends

Oh and for the record, don't make a 2nd account, you'll lose your 1st as well

(tisk tisk gentlemen for suggesting that

)
What the hell?!?

My advice - whenever you play with them, be the first to attack, and pick whichever is more of the cry baby, and just suicide into that person every game. Never attack the other one, just the cry baby type. Eventually he's going to say something like 'stop picking on me man', to which you say, OK, then you better start attacking X from now on, or I'll beat you like a readheaded step-child every game!

Pay no heed, getting into tippling games can be ruinous for your health, take it from someone who knows.

Thank you gdangel, you were the only one who gave me advice of the kind that I wanted. I guess everyone else missed it, but I wanted solutions that work under the assumption that I will still play with them, since I do live on the same hallway as they do. I can, and do, play other games outside of those that I play with them. It's just that their current "strategies" are not very helpful to me, and are making the games unfair, as I said. It just really pisses me off when they leave borders unprotected, and I have to build mine up in order to defend against the two of them.

Thats definitely the way to play with friends on CC.
If you play
against friends on CC you usually find the better player doesn't always wins and you usually find a lot of dodgy stuff taking place.
But if you play
with friends on CC you will all become better players and your friendship relation in both real life and on CC will grow.
So play with your friends and not against them.
