Game Turn

I want to know how game turn is decided.

I have an amazing streak going. I am sure that well over 70% of my last 100 games I have gone second. I consider that well out of the bounds of probability. In fact, it is impossible if game turn is truly random.

What does CC mean by saying game turn is determined at random?

Is it TRULY randomly generated, OR, do you utilize a pre-determined database of results in order to generate what you call "random"?

I think it is BS.

Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but if you weren't playing with 1v1 settings (flat rate and unlimited) that reaaaaaally tilt toward the person that goes first, it wouldn't matter as much.

Of course, if it's not some sort of random, then your position would be.... what, that CC is deliberately unfair to you in particular? 1v1s starting positions are slanted toward the second player?

You ruined the validity of this complaint with that statement right there. Random means anything at all could happen, even you starting in each and every of 5000 games.

As Incandenza said, even if it isn't random, does it really matter? If it really bugs you, play freestyle. Then the players determine who goes first, not the game.

I can't claim that I know how they determine turn order, but I have no reason to doubt what they have said. I think that it is random.
