Operation Drug War

I was wondering what strategies people employed on this map... particularly 1vs1.

Is there any point going for any proper viable bonuses, maybe small fry or just concentrate on knocking your opponent to oblivion.

I like the potential of the map but after playing it it seems just like arms race, except everywhere is much more interconnected making taking out neutrals for bonuses a wasted enterprise as your opponent will just capitalise on not being hit themselves and break your bonus.

Like any map don't go for a bonus unless it's easy...If you can take control of the patrol territories you will have a huge advantage.

Any other views? I like it as it is similar to Arms Race, but I have not spent much time and effort breaking the neutrals to get the bigger bonuses in the game... I don't know how much success you could get from that kind of strategy.

don't go for big/too many bonusses at first, just take the small fry, you might try to take 1 block early (if you can hold it, it's only 2 territories to defend if you ignore the stash (note the stash gives a huge bonus but will often get bombarded)) if you can manage to hold at least 1 block you can (depending on how many players) either go hunt them down from there using the block as your base or just take a lot of phones/patrols/muscles/ whatever you can grab, if you hit them hard and fast enough they will not be able to hit you back hard enough to break all your bonusses, they'll break about 80% maybe but the other 20% will still be good enough to weaken them even further, just continue pulling back and forth and eventually you'll overrun them.
