A Better Server

Postby Kingdroid on Sun Oct 05, 2008 10:54 am

That's what CC needs. I can hardly go through 3 turns without the server timing out or getting an error with a status request because i tried to attack.

anyone else getting these problems?

I haven't had any such problems. I'm not so sure it's on CC's end.

Neither have I, except for one 2 hour long period when they had really huge troubles. I remember that it was the time I tried to show cc to one of my friends. lol. Can't say he was very impressed.

But that was just a stand alone incident, cc has great speed, never had problems with it. Have you enabled cookies? That will slow down cc a ton if you have not done so.

If I take my turns at school, I've got the same problem. But at home I never have any problems...
Maybe it's because you use a proxy server ? (My school does) Cant think of an other problem...

Wireless internet? That could cause problems, as wireless tends to time out more than wired.

Wireless internet does not give a problem. I never use cable, and I can't say that my service is the fastest ever. Do you have any ad ons that might impact active x controls, or something of the sort?

When I changed to wireless from wired, this problem started for me.

if your not using it, then disable it. it is possible that it may be malfunctioning. or not agreeing with another one of your add-ons for some reason.

It's an addon. Not the actual refresh thing in browsers.
