Why not? As I said, life happens and sometimes it's just unavoidable.

Missing a turn is not a good strategy in pretty much every case. You might use it as an advantage in one or two select instances, but the extra troops are still no compensation for the extra attacks your opponents got to make.

[-X it is wrong to miss a turn you should loose your armies and not be rewarded for any reason....life happens is not a good reason

It's not a reward though... You get a block of armies to put on one territory that'll only be useful until the next turn. The attacks that you lose are much more valuable, and you don't get any armies that would be autodeployed.

Are you telling me that if one of your relatives dies (let's hope this does not happen), that you would go and take your turns instead of going to the funeral? Or leave in the middle of it so you can win a game in cc?

There are things in life that are too sudden for you to prepare for and are way too important for you to miss so that you can take your turns. And in all essence, if the deferred armies were large enough for the person to win where they would have lost without them, that person would have won even more easily if they had not missed their turn. A few troops should not make a difference, and if the person was winning anyways, it is allowing the person to recover somewhat from their position.
