What happens to our games during server crashes?

We should be able to prevent them

CC loses popularity when it crashes. My friends who play CC often complain to me about the server crashes. What can we do to fix this?

Yes, the timer continues, but as soon as the server is back up lack will adjust the timers (if your turn has already been skipped it doesn't go back)

Too bad if it happens during a turn.

Lack could move to another hosting provider. Rackspace SUCKS.

server crashes are not that bad- i did not even notice it.

You do realize that CC was down for about 5 hours (that I noticed) and that several forums are missing now
