Hi all,

How are you doin?
I'm an Italian Java developer with a kind of idea to implement some boarding games, don't know yet if as a web or desktop application.
I read that some computer implementations of boarding games had copyright problems, but I can see as well that it's still online.

Had you got any kind of this problems from the owners or Risk, for example?

Thanks very much, and sorry to waste your time

Yeah, he's not adding an "a" to the end of every other word.

No way could he be Italian.

:)
Hi guys, I can assure you I'm Italian..
Actually there was no point to specify that from the beginning.. the reason is that I'm looking for a job, and I'm writing so many cover letters starting with, "I'm an Italian Java developer.. blah blah..."..

Sorry, but I think you'll find the general membership here most unhelpful. You'll get seven or eight sarcastic attempts at wit before you'll get one attempt at answering your question. This is because most people will assume you're just an old member who made a new account. That is what owenshooter meant by "multi." And, he's probably right.

well this game while similar is very different than the board game risk. here there are 100 different types of maps, risk only has a few. here there are many different game types, assassin, doubles, triples, terminator, quads. in risk there is only 1. and while the rules for the board game risk have varied differently from version to version over past 50 years, none of the rules match the way the rules are here.

true enough mate.... but to be fair we have had a lot of 'terrorist-multi-freedom-fighters' of late ... and the original poster does coincidentally bring up some of those contentious issues .. his name is also Al ;)

anyway Alberto, all is sweet with Hasbro and they have deemed CC to be a complimentary product, which furthers the cause and exposure of strategy based games in general.

Hey Alberto,

You may want to talk to a real lawyer about such things, 16 year olds on the internet are not a reliable source of information on just about anything ;)

Have a good one, and good luck to you!
