Conquer Club

This is a bit of fun more than a serious map suggestion (though you never know!) so i thought i'd make a separate thread rather than cluttering up the Classic map thread:


Imagine the below image filled up with the avatars of 'notable' figures in the community (mainly it will result in a pun fest but it could be ok)
The Map behind would obviously be deleted once all attacking areas have been filled by a replacement avatar picture:





So for example we have Lackistan in the centre there, Jeff over in the far North East.
In South America we have SergentBeana and Tiltilia. (could also be Blahzil!)
In North America we have .. Twill and neighbour Clappecois . (Twill keeps his name as a mark of respect.. and so the gamelog can say: "Jiminski assaulted Twill ..." )

anyway, i left it unfinished in case others had some interesting and loosely linked reasons for certain members taking one of the remaining territories.

(also other thoughts were perhaps Delia as Kumchatya!, NorseWest Territory)

heh i have also now included: United Jimdom ; ) because frankly it tickled my chestnuts.. and that sits next to Mandipravia (Could also be Andysavia?)

I was toying with Youpain / Upain for Whump perhaps?

DaGypt?
OwenDonesia?

Pooh Guinea would've been nice too but he took the cow down.


Anyway, see if you can think of either a pun based or topical reference to take a territory or replace one i have already come up with.. If you can not think of anything just say the candidates name and i'll think of something
Topical gives more flexibility; Like .. i don't know Mouth Africa for Owen (no offence intended Owen, i like Owendonesia too)

I am not sure if this will stay here long but we should reap all the amusement possible, to make light of this silly situation.

NB. try to play rather than overtly flame .. or this won't last long.

Finally, as a pure vanity thing, I quite fancy throwing my hat into the ring to become 'Mustardgasca' (or Mustagasca for the more subtle)

and i considered Beanland ... but someone needs to replace Sergentbeana as Xtra can't be 2.
If he were Mexico is it called Xaco or Xtrago... or something similar?

This is a good idea, but you can just use a rough cut world map and instead of the geographic names which are similar to [competition's] map, name the areas for the famous cc' personalities.

E.G., United States of Twill. Lackland. Norseland. Wickidia. etc. etc.

Who should be Whiner ?

Scotland would seem an obvious one Fruit but there isn't actually a Scotland on the original.. we are shooting for advanced punnary, plays on words based around users names or their deeds/words which can be deemed synonymous with their internet persona -
hence: Owendonesia for Indonesia

Now if we had Burma on the Original Classic we could use Suggs Avatar and call it Sperma! .. sadly there is no Burma .. which is a genuine tragedy!

Put me down for Venerealzuala. I think this idea may actually take flight if we give it enough thought and a nudge towards the right direction. Somebody in the Map Foundry should be able to sculpt our avatars together.

heh.. well it would be nice to get more creative .. and that fellow doesn't actually have an Avatar .. also he's never made a post so i don't think he is that well known. Therefore he has a few things which work against his inclusion in on this map of the famous and infamous...

It's difficult not to give in to vanity. Sadly, I may not be high profile enough. But I have to say I lol'd at this. Clever stuff.
