Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

When starting a game I always say 'hello' or at least 'good luck'. For some reason there are players who will not respond. No matter what I write, they will not answer. I think it is rude. At least say 'good luck' and 'good game'.

why should a player wish you luck if he doesn't want you to win?

i'd rather someone say nothing over "gfy, i'm gonna kick your ass" anyday

i agree it is a bit rude its just common courtesy for the occasional gg or gl
am not saying you should have to but if someone else says it it should be followed up

I usually wish for my opponents to die in a fire before a game, but then, I am a ruthless and hateful bastard.

Well I think a lot has to do with Premium Vs Non-Prem I play around 100-150 games at a time so I just don't have time to scroll down and see if anybody has written a message. Every once in a while (between tournys) my game count will drop and I will start commenting more. When I was a non-prem I would chat a lot more becuase I had nothing better to do.

Cheers!

agree with NP on this one... and as someone said above, it may have to do with the number of games people have. however, we must ALSO remember that there are multiple languages used on this site, and perhaps your opponent doesn't speak english!!! what if you are playing an italian, a dutch and a german dude? ever thought of that scenario?

toolman69er: good luck everyone!!!

toolman69er: ummmm... thanks? i guess...

I play in small groups and do check the nationality of a player if he/she doesn't answer.

This is not my only game site. I can't pay for every site I play on. BUT, at the very least I will say 'Hello', 'good luck'.
