Administrator response time?

What is the typical response time it takes administrators here to get back to you?

Thanks for responding owenshooter. I don't even know what an eticket is, so not sure it's related? I sent an inbox message. Is that not the best way to contact Twill?

lack got back to me in twenty minutes and did my eticket in 30

twill still has not responded

You should read this before posting. Many of your questions can probably be answered here or here. And your questions regarding support services and appropriate ways to contact adminstrators are answered here. Let me recommend putting forth some effort to answer your own question before posting next time.

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but what do forum guidelines and general forum questions have to do with any of my questions? I appreciate the time you put into finding all those links for me, but nowhere in any of your links did I see the best way to contact administrators or what I can expect their response time to be or if one is quicker/better to contact than another. But I do thank you for answering my one "who is lack" question.

Not sure if you realize it, but you come across with a bit of a negative attitude there Nikolai. I hope I'm just reading that wrong though - I'm sure you didn't mean to be that way to a new person just finding their way around these forums? I'm doing my best, but there's a lot of stuff here and can be quite overwhelming to a new person. I've only ever followed links from chat (it was the only thing working the day I signed up, so I've stuck in there mostly).

If you'd like to get into contact with a member of Team CC, you can do so either by PM for everyone, or you can contact the admin's and general support via the E-ticket system. Keep in mind the volume of e-tickets and PM's we all receive. ;)

Thank you Andy for taking time to answer. Can you give an approximate average response time (my original question)? If a response is going to take awhile, do administrators send out a status message to say, hey I'm working on it, it'll be awhile longer? If not, that would be a nice touch to add, don't you think?

You must only have looked at the first link or two. Try this one. It answers all of your questions regarding what is an e-ticket and how to contact administration. It's the "Help" button on the top of the page.

As far as your original question... there isn't really an average time. A lot depends on the nature of your request. I've had responses to PMs take anywhere from same day to a couple of months. The difference is that the first question was a simple one, and the second one took a short essay to explain. So a lot depends on what you want.

And... don't give me too much credit. It didn't take much time. All the FAQs and guidelines and Help material is literally one or two clicks from anywhere on the site. :lol:

And I'm terribly sorry if I come across as slightly negative... but you obviously haven't made much attempt to find your own answers, and I usually find it's much easier to figure out how to solve your own problems if possible rather than post in the forums. Hence my comment.

Thanks Nikolai for further explaining. I looked at all the links, saw who the "team" was, which was very helpful. I didn't see the contact box at the bottom of the FAQ page until just now. I did try to look around, but like I said, it's a tad daunting to someone not familiar with this kind of stuff, and the answer wasn't anywhere anyway. ;-) Everyone seems most helpful, so thanks again.

Typically, if you want a faster response, then PMing a moderator is the way to go. We're here to field the general questions of day-to-day use.
