Max. number of cards a player can finish with? ANSWER

by THE ARMY
I will provide the answer shortly but first i want to see if you CCers are bright enough to get it.

:geek:

I will reveal the correct answer this week sometime. Think carefully... Try not to look at other posts below before you answer, just think and give an answer you think is correct then after look at the other answers.

Answer is 38 and would need to be played on a Quads Freestyle w/ Spoils But it is not final it is only a theory. Do cards transfer from one team player to another? If so the answer is 38, but until we find that out for sure the answer is 33.

Good job all who got it!!!!!!

Nine

you own 4 and kill a person with 5

unless it is freestyle, and then you can get a lot more assuming that someone with 4 kills someone with 4....who killed someone with 5

In a standard sequential 8-player game, the most is 33

In standard sequential, the most is 9

In a Battle Royal, it depends on how many people are playing.

13 freestyle

you have 4 and you take out a guy who had 4 and when he toke someone else out

edit

this is harder than i thought case after my scenario it could happen agine but how many more times is the Q
i dont have the time for that one

not 35, a person with 5 cards has to cash so they have to have 4 cards when they make the kill. In an 8 player game, it is 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 5 = 33

4(n-1) + 5

where n is the amount of players in the game

4n+1 is more elegant ;)

33 is the most possible cards to own when you win. I am not wrong.

Its actually 36 I believe. 8 player doubles game

Team 1 player A has 5 cards, deadbeats, give player B 10 cards.
Player C of team 2 has 4 cards and kills player B, giving player C 14 cards.
Player C deadbeats giving teammate player D who had 5 cards, 19 cards.
Player E of team 3 has 4 cards and kills player D, giving him/her 23 cards.
Player G of team 4 kills player E, giving him/her 27 cards.
Player G deadbeats, giving teammate player H, who already had 5 cards, 32 cards.
Player F of team 3 had 4 cards and kills player H and the game is over and he has 36 cards.

you have to cash when you have 5 cards, you can only kill someone with a maximum of 4 cards

you can time out the round to keep your cards and not cash

four for himself, four for the last kill, and more for the persons that timed out after gaining four cards

at least in a terminator game that is true

in standard game 8

as others have said, player 1 has 5 cards.
player two has 4 cards, eliminates player 1, which gives player two 9 cards total.

Then player 3 (also 4 cards) eliminates 2.
and so on, for all the remaining players.

so the total is 5+4(p-1) where p is the number of players.
which equals: (4p+1)

How about this single-player game situation:

All players start a round with 4 cards. No player turns in a set, giving the first N-1 players 5 cards each at the end of their turns. During the final player's turn, he eliminates everyone else, giving him 5p-1 cards. (I'm assuming that a game winner doesn't get a card at the end of his turn, not sure of the exact rules.)

In an 8-player game, that would mean 39 cards for player 8.

Won't work, once the player starts eliminating the others he has to cash in as soon as he gets over 5 cards.

That's not true. I could have 4 cards, attack someone and end my turn with 5 cards. Then you could kill me and take my FIVE cards.

You cash in in the middle of a turn once you hit 5 cards? Did not know that...

If you are including team games, (which I was not considering earlier because if any of my teammate were to deadbeat, cards are the last thing on my mind,) then the number would change, but the most would be 38 cards, not 36 or 33 which I said earlier.

In 8 player quads

Player A has 5 cards- deadbeats
B gets the cards so B now has 10 cards- deadbeats
C now has 15 cards
E kills C so now he has 19 cards- deabeats
F now has 24 cards- deadbeats
G now has 29 cards- deadbeats
H now has 34 cards
Player D who had 4 cards kills him and now has 38 cards

the most is 38 in a team game; for non team games, the equation is still (4n+1)
