I think I need some help

Before you ask/flame, YES, I did look over the Strategy section of the forums. However, it did not seem to help too much as I continue to lose. A lot. I have tried playing defensively, aggressively...nothing seems to work. Is there any sort of strategy I could to at least lose a little less? Also, could you ask questions to help define my playstyle, because I can't seem to think of any myself. Sorry if this topic is ridiculous, but this is starting to get really frustrating. Thanks for any help.

You definitely shouldn't play freestyle games. And, if you ask me, it's a bit too early for team games, or assasins.

Play only standard sequential games, on simple maps, for a while. Your winning percentage will improve significantly and with a time, you'll start to know what are you doing...

Zem is correct, your playin some very hard maps that take time to understand. Its better to master the ones you understand 1st and stick to 2 or 3 player games for a while. As for the rolls going bad whether you attack or defend, well welcome to our world.

Hm...so I should pick one or two simple maps to start out on and get good with and only play sequential with 3-4 players? All right, I shall do so and see if it helps. Also, a school? Sounds like a good idea. I shall check it out. Thanks for all the help.

I dragged myself up from a cook by finding a map (with certain settings etc) that I was good at, and when I wanted some extra points I would just play that game :)

There are a lot of 'good' players who, if they they played that variety of maps on that variety of styles, wouldn't have that much better a record.

As the always intelligent manbungalow alluded to, choose one map, one style and learn it!

Important Notice...Read now...If by 50 games you have yet to start to improve your rank or game play this is not the place for you most likely,if your goals are to win.I would suggest playing no card games as they last a bit longer and should give you ample chances to see/understand the overall idea of what it takes to win.You then would move on to escalating cards and quickly realize it's not about continent bonus's.If you have not yet realized that it is great to have position in every part of the map for that game winning sweep well...

You seem to be playing 3-5 man games mostly Flat rate and freestyle FoW.I doubt you review the log upon start of your turn and get an overall idea of what is going on.Another thing is Flat rate can be so brutal and such a quick momentum turn.I would play Esc and kill some1 for their cards only when u can cash in right away by doing so.That is what you have to try understanding the idea of setting up on a player from turn 1 until the time is right...
