Usually I can beat my friends at will when playing risk, but then I find this site and it's like I went from flag football to the NFL.
Did anyone else have the same feeling when they played their first few games?

no, I actually won a bunch of my first games...and then hit a slump..lol but then again, that was back in January, and everyone was still figuring the site out.

You have to remember that many of the newer players in the past couple of months were hard core Risk players. We needed a new home when MSN shut down support for Risk on The Zone.

The difficulty of this site reflected what I expected. I thought I'd be able to get into the top 10-25 fairly easy but #1 would be very hard. I did get to 19th but now I've had trouble getting back up there
