how do you receive a "blanket block" wrongly? Your blocked for a reason. The mods dont throw a dart at a board and select the person(s) name that it hits and blocks them.

I have to agree here. Max was blocked with about 30 people, most them noteworthy. They then would block all these players from each other. Terrible if you ask me.The reason is fear of max playing multiple accounts at once. Now max is gone. Legit question to a terrible ruling to begin with. Should have only been max with everybody.

i think he is refferring to the time max got blocked for account sitting wth about 50 people

an error was made and the players couldnt play each other either

so players like Pc, KoG, 300, KH,... were blocked from playing with/against max but also blocked from playing with/against each other

Are you serious? Did you pay attention at all. The main reason all these players were blocked was Max. He is now gone, so no threat of him making games with multiple accounts to play all the moves. Read the original thread and then maybe you will understand the premise of this thread.

I have no problem with the premise of the thread. I have no way to comprehend your contribution to the thread because it is senseless. One would have to be someone who plays with Scott-Land to decipher your meaning. Senseless words from someone who thinks it is ok to cheat and to posture as some great player.

Read your record. I have. Your play not only is suspect, you cheat. Like all you who put upon this Max guy, all have a stake in the matter. You all are afraid of being called out from one who was in it with you. CC's scoring system is a transparent fraud. There are jerks, like you, who like to think your cheating confers some status, but in the end, cheats are seen for what they, you, are, which is CHEATS.

Not to take this thread off task, but please keep on topic. I have nearly 2000 Unique defeats in 2600+ games. Now this thread is not about me, this is about getting a dumb block removed.

Play low ranks... you are farming..play high ranks and you are scared shitless.... play many high ranks over and over... you are noob as well.. lol your theory is weak and sad... I always have a few public games open for anybody to join. Join one and see how bad I am..

Maybe I am not fully understanding this, I could use a little more detail, but it seems to me that all these players gave Max their pm so he could account sit for them. Max is the only one at fault here?

Max was the main issue here. So what if he sat for player X. Does not make player X bad. One bad apple ruined CC for many people.

The basic gist was -

Max had a ton of people's passwords. He could thus use these passwords to manipulate games that involve the other players. He could log onto other people's accounts and play poorly or strategically depending on how he wanted the outcome to be, and then use the results of that to play with his own accounts and up his own score. Now that max is banned from the site, he won't have access to the accounts, thus the blocks should no longer be in effect.

I had him finish one speed game as I missed a turn and it was a Team game.Had it not been a team game i simply would have left,had I also known the block woulda been coming I woulda took the DB.I dont see how this qualifies for receiving a block from almost 50-100 players.

player x dint know in advance that max was an issue....geesh, come on. Lets not play stupid now. player x is responsible for his own account. if he handed his password out to another player that made poor choices, than he needs to suck it up and accept the reaction.

I knew there would be a chapter 2 this week in handed out passwords. Everyone is always innocent. Nobody ever does anything wrong. I think we watch too many convict movies to be honest. For once I would like to see a player stand up and say...yes I fucked up. I should not have handed my password out to 35 players. I do it because I like to obtain high scores on the scoreboard and will take any measure see fit in doing so. Than I will salute this player for being a man. But that wont happen. Too many high ranks only care about points.

Now I have a question. I never understood what happened with the whole account sitting thing. Were they playing against max when he sat their accounts, or did he start new games for them. What was the actual problem. Because account sitting by itself, as far as I knew, was ok. Can someone enlighten me on this matter.
