Hmmm. I'd suggest reading through the archive of sheep's mafia posts. Plenty of inspiration there.

Well... you could have looked through the archives of mandy's mafia posts, I guess. But then we'd wind up with another 82 page Day 1.

Aimless wrote:As for why I don't unvote : Shhh... it's a trap! If Narc gets speed lynched, then at least three scum (whichever three are involved in the spped lynch) will have instantly identified themselves, and the town will be way ahead. So, I'm keeping my vote to keep the pressure on, but I'll be suspicious of anyone else who votes for Narc.

I don't believe first votes on a player mean much on the first day, but the following votes can give you leads. Why did you say it's a trap and point out where to find scum? Could this be a way for you to warn your fellow scum not to bandwagon on Anark? Wouldn't it have been better not to mention that at all and see what happened?

Aimless wrote:I wanted to hear from you and ML, since I didn't see a reason for your vote other than "Narc put a 3rd vote on wicked."

I gave my reason. I admitted it was weak, but what can you do on the first day? I was also wondering are you trying to link me to wicked? I never mentioned wicked at all. Check my post.

MountainLion wrote:The most votes is 3, and if you read all of them, all three of those votes are metagaming. Why metagame that many times on the same player?

Unvote

FOS Anarkistsdream for being the last of the most metagame votes on one player.

I'm not sure about keeping my vote on Anark now. I wanted to see who might follow my vote or any other vote for that matter, but now you've ruined it.

Unvote

FOS Aimless for (in a way) warning scum and trying to link players together.

Am I wrong to think these things about you Aimless? Tell me why.

(Warning this is a tonka bashing wicked post  )

Although i agree with you about it being unfortunate that aimless divluged as much as he did, i dont think he was very out of line. Wicked is notorious for being stubborn (like a good mafia player has to be from time to time) and had aimless not provide a suitable (and thats a rareity for wicked) defense, the bandwagon would have simply gone the other way. Although i dont think this was so necesary since wicked was mostly covering herself rather than redirecting, it wasnt out of the question that the next step was as preceded.
(wasnt as bad as i thought lol)

Anyway, this isnt exactly a game filled with people who dont know how to play. I question what exactly people think the mafia would be doing, its pretty unlikely that people are just going to dive onto bandwagons repeatedly so if people are making too grand of assumptions based on the skill level of players it may not be as necesary. WIFOM is probably going to be a bigger element with more of these players than noobish tactics.

Link you to wicked?

Geez. It looks like I seriously need to work on my disambiguation skills; I didn't think my logic was all that hard to follow, but apparently it is.

The only people I linked to wicked were mandalorian and Narc. The only thing I posts regarding you and Guilty_Biscuit was a request for you both to reprise your reasons for voting Narc.

I can believe that you voted him as a trap looking for bandwagonneers. Sorry it didn't work out; I had a reason for thinking he was scum.

Think I'm beginning to see why XenHu made the days longer. With only 12 players, experienced ones, this could take a while.

I'll keep an FOS on Anark and Aimless.

We haven't heard from Moz in a while...

It's probably justifiable that he's a bit out f whack, but I'm still getting some scum vibes from his behaviour.

I would say Mandy should post more but I'm probably guilty of that too.

I can't see anything productive coming from day 1 in this game. The mafia aren't going to slip up and any votes they make will be doubly misleading.

so what should we do then? Lynch someone like Aim just b/c he's active and thinking out loud, or lynch someone like Ank b/c he's not? Lynch someone like Biscuit b/c I haven't played with ya that much? lol

the lol means I wasn't serious about the last one Biscuit.

Day 1 lynches are usually either against players acting weird or players submarining. So I was just asking which way we were headed. Is Aim acting weird, or is he just thinking out loud and trying to get conversation started?

I'm just waiting around to hear from Ank on his "reasoning" behind his page 1 comment that made no sense.

So you have any other ideas Biscuit?

Well... I've decided to unvote: Nark due to the fact I now think he is more likely town than some of the other players.

Aside from that - I'm looking at who the most info might be gleaned from... And there isn't much to go on with it being day 1. Not unless you want to own up Wicked? There's also quite a big difference between the number of posts and accusations from person to person.
