A few people have registered multiple times, so we're still a bit short. Looking for 3 more...

We have lift-off.

Ok, 126 games to create, all with individual invites. So this will take awhile. I'm going to stagger the creation.

First will be the 36 standard games.

Next will come the 30 terminator games.

Finally will be the 60 assassin games.

Please accept all in a timely fashion.

36 Standard games are sent. I'm not going to create terminator games until all standard games are accepted. I want to see if we're going to need reserves.

is there a limit in the number of round ? cause, some game might last forever in flat rate and stall the tournament

No limit. In the 20 tournaments I've run so far, we've only had 2 dead-locked standard games that have also determined qualification/champions. If we reach a point where a game is clearly stalled without hope of a winner, I'll work with the parties involved to come up with an equitable solution.

I'm not too concerned with delaying the tournament. Some of my tournaments last awhile (I & X are good examples) and if that's the case, so be it in my book. It's really just an extra game or two for someone that goes on for awhile.

All - I'm aware that kleas already seems to be deadbeating. This is a particular problem due to the format of the tournament. I'm going to give him a couple more days to return to the site. If he doesn't, I'll have to find a solution. It will probably involve asking a non-tournament player to join his terminator and assassin games. That player would be playing as exhibitions, so the points would only be in play if one of the tournament players scored them. That seems the fairest solution if the deadbeating continues.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

kleas has deadbeated. He has not returned to the site. He has lost all his standard games. Luckily he never joined his terminator games so the tournament isn't ruined. chiefsfan4ever has agreed to step up as a substitute. He will join all 5 terminator games that have been sent. The Iceland terminator games will be sent soon. At that point everyone should have 12 active or finished Initech XXI games. Next week I will send the six assassin games.

Since chiefsfan4ever is only eligible for 150 points (when everyone else is eligible for 240 points)... if his ratio of points scored is equal to or higher than the tournament winner, I will petition the tournament organizers to award him a second medal. I don't think anyone would have a problem with that, since the high scorer will still be the tournament champion.

UPDATED EDIT:
raeziel subsequently deadbeated in the terminator matches and kleas has returned. Consequently, kleas took raeziel's spots in the assassin games. Because kleas did deadbeat, he is not eligible for the same ratio deal that I have offered chiefsfan4ever. But I wanted to explain why kleas is in standard and assassin games, but not terminator.

A few housekeeping things...

1) It's not necessary to report won games in this thread. I will not be updating per game. Rather, I'll be making a couple updates per week and will be going through all games. In short, I have a system, so posting here doesn't do anything.

2) kleas returned to a couple of the standard games he wasn't kicked out of already. So he has scored points in one game he won. For consistency's sake, he will be included on the board. However, chiefsfan4ever has replaced him in the tournament for terminator and assassin games.

3) I'm going to wait to send the assassin games for a little bit. I want nearly all the terminator games to conclude before I sent the assassin games out.

Iceland Terminator 3 was just sent. I didn't realize it expired without everyone joining, so that's totally my fault.

Also, tournament scoreboard is updated.

Board is fully updated with all completed games.

Really happy to have only 2 standard games still ongoing.

There are 10 terminator games still active but about half of those will finish very quickly.

I'm going to keep waiting to send the assassin games. They will go fast anyway so there's on rush. I will also try to re-work things if I find any deadbeats.

So far, so good... at least I think. Let me know if you have questions or complaints.

I've sent the first 2 assassin games for everyone. I will wait to see who joins before I send the final 4. Don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves if we've had more than 1 deadbeat.
