The Rapture(Judgement Day)

Postby Anarchist on Wed Apr 25, 2007 7:00 pm

Now we all know that the Christians will be saved and that we are all damned. I was just wondering as a sinner, if you were being judged, would you be scared?

Do you think God will damn you for all eternity for your sins(whatever they may be)

-or-

Do you think the "Christians" are in for one hell of a suprise?

(thought i would ask, since they keep damning me all the time.)
Personally I think Ghandi has a better chance then most Christians.

I truely believe that Mithras will condemn the Christians to eternal damnation for their worship of false idols.

Forgive them Mithras my Lord! They know not what they do by worshipping the false idol Jesus!

I think the rapture is just a way to make nonchristians think that the christians will have the last laugh.

1. No "GFY" option
2. No "I'm not Christian/there will be no rapture" option.

You've seen those "In case of rapture, this car will be empty" bumper stickers?

My version is "In case of rapture, your car is mine!"

Maybe the rapture allready happened. I have never had anyone explain this thing very well. I only recently have been reading about the guy that made the whole thing up.

2dimes, as far as I'm concerned the rapture is simple.

God picks one day and decides that all the good people will immediately go to heaven, no matter how long they have left to live.

Then he destroys the world and all the "sinners" left on it...

Well, shit...That doesn't sound too good for me or my muffins then, if it were to happen, that is...

Um, no no no, Heavy. Chin up little fella. Remeber the rapture index is high my friend. We are closer today than ever before. Everyone ignore the John Nelson Darby behind the curtain.

There are quite a few things in the bible, some that are Jesus' own words, that make the concept of pre-tribulation rapture something Jesus would probably not perform. The main one being, he said specifically, "Everyone will see when the son of man returns."

So my question is, who is going to cause it to happen, since it is taught by it's proponants as something Jesus will do real sneaky like, so only the good card carrying church members are privy?

Because during the rapture Jesus is not "coming back". He is taking the Christians "up to meet Him in the clouds". The verse you quoted is referring to the Second coming of Christ which will be at the end of the Tribulation period and at THAT time "everyone will see Him".

I'm sorry jay but Jesus doesn't exist - when the 'rapture' happens, and it is VERY NEAR, all Christians will be put to the flames by the great Mithras.

You mean we can actually cause this to happen?

Do you really think that, in the 6 billion or more years the world has existed, and how we have risen from the smallest of bacteria into the humans we are now, and how one human 'happened' to be divine and superatural, do you really think that there is a day designated in the whole history of the earth just for it's destruction? Not a fucking chance.
