Average Rank of Off Topics Posters

Only ever got up to Sergeant 1st Class. Dice rolls screwed me over 100 too many times and just gave up on the games months ago. It sucks to lose 7-8 armies to 1-2 armies 3-4 turns in a row. Which consequently means you lose games, over and over.

Been here since 2007, and my average rank is probably around Private-Private 1st Class.

There will be a slight correlation (im guessing from anecdotal observation); however it will almost certainly be statistically insignificant and impossible to imply causation.

The possibility to imply causation is overrated. Supposition is way more fun.

2.9% of active CC members are ranked colonel or above, there are 3 Colonels who have posted in this thread out of 18 (as every CC fanatic knows 1/6 = 16.666 etc %). I am certain you would find a proper statistically significant result if you MATHSED this forum but it doesn't require any explanation beyond the obvious fact that the more time you spend on the site the more statistically likely you are to attain a high rank and the more likely you are to post regularly on the forum.

Note 1- Time spent per day is more important than days on site for both measurements
Note 2- Roughly 1 out of every 11 active users on CC are new recruits.
Note 3- 28% of the sites users have played less than 50 games, Symmetry is the least active player here with 66 games.
Note 4- Beer.

I agree wholeheartedly will all notes, including Note #4.
