Guys, my head is still spinning that Senator Al Franken has taken the time to email me personally! He truly is the Greatest Senator in American History.

Most of the email I send you asks you to do something, whether it’s signing a petition or making a small contribution to help our -- well, you know how it usually goes.
This one, though, doesn’t have an “ask” -- just a wish. As families across America gather to celebrate the season, I want to wish you a wonderful holiday.
However you celebrate, this time of year means reunions with family we don’t get to see often enough, kids excited about opening presents, lots of great music, and, of course, food. Lots and lots of food.
So it’s a time of year we all look forward to. And even though our hearts are heavy for those affected by tragedy or separated from loved ones, we all welcome the respite the holidays provide from our hectic lives.
Wherever you are, I hope you and your family are gathering in peace and health to celebrate the holiday season.
