Well, for me, an avatar is a state of mind. I have one forum where I go from a Yankee gnome avatar for baseball season, to "Puckman," the mascot of R.P.I. hockey team when college hockey season is here.

Now my CC avatar is exceptionally interesting, assuming you actually knew what it actually was. It comes from a mural in Key West,

She was named admiral of the Conch Republic when the Keys seceded from the union in response to a drug checkpoint border crossing that was put up in Florida just north of the Keys. She was the first woman juror in Monroe Country, Florida, and was elected Mayor of Key West. She even hosted Queen Elizabeth II on the Dry Tortugas. She passed away in 2005.
