Djokovic is the best since Agassi in his best times.

Yes, even better than Federer.

Give me a break. He had an amazing year two years ago but only won one slam last year. Nadal will claim the French open, I think that Federer has a great shot at both Wimbledon and U.S. Open, especially Wimbledon. Murray to is in the hunt for another slam. Nicholas Almagro is on the rise to. If someone other than the big four is to win a slam it will be him. Neither Djokovic or Agassiz is on the same level as Federer.

In that year you mention, Djokovic displayed a game play and dominance that no one ever before had. Not even Federer.

Perhaps in the long run Federer will be a better player (although Djokovic is still young) but that year was amazing, even when he was tired he was playing masterfully. When you watched his games you went from amazement to amazement to amazement to jerking off.

Federer was in the Finals of every slam from 05 Wimbledon- 07 US Open (10 in a row) and again from the 08 French Open- 10 Australian Open (8 in a row). The next best streak is Jack Crawford with 7 in the 1930s. That in dominance.

Well, I was talking of the actual matches, rather than stats. I don't watch much tennis anymore but if you watched Djokovic in those days, man it was awesome. I'm pretty sure I never saw Federer or anyone play like that. Although I recognize I don't know much about the history of tennis, but the athleticism of these guys makes me conclude Djokovic reached a peak Federer never did.

I repeat, Federer has had a better career, but Djokovic is young and I'd love to see him get in that amazing level again.
