Both were incredibly evil men, with a lot of people willing to do evil things for them.

However to argue Hitler "saved" Europe from Stalin is ridiculous. Had Hitler not started his wars of aggressions Stalin would never have come to control such a large portion of Eastern Europe. Before the war everyone was far more afraid of Stalin than they were of Hitler, any Major aggression on the Soviet Unions behalf would have been meet with international opposition.
