An interesting development in California - non-(US) citizens to be given the right to serve on juries.

Think about it.... Who likes jury duty? 9 times out of 10 you show up, sit around in some lobby for half a day waiting, only to be dismissed. Next day - repeat, then repeat again... and again.
In the same way immigrants efficiently perform tasks that most Americans would never let themselves be brought "so low" to do, this could be a tremendous service for us.
US citizenship? As if that means anything in today's America.
