The religious aspects of Yoga are pretty complex also. Even most westerners who practice it rarely understand that part properly.
That's basically the point. While I realize there are spiritual aspects to "true" yoga (if you will), which would be a tremendous rarity here in the United States...as it's being taught in most gyms, never mind at this gradeschool, there is nothing religious about it at all.
And the whole "Christian alternative to yoga" is...well, stupid.
...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.
