In February, Carter was involved in an argument about a video game on Facebook when people responded by telling him he was "crazy". He replied: "Oh yeah, I'm real messed up in the head. I recall seeing several articles from bigger media outlets which omitted the important, underlined part.
As news agencies which should be in accord with their alleged ethics of journalism, are they being held accountable for this terrible reporting? Either customers can leave, some organization can at least enforce the (non-existent) ethics of journalism, or what?
It's such a rampant problem because I see it happening with much more serious stories.
