Progressivism/socialism/communism: taking someone else's money while blaming them for your problems. Talk about refusing to take responsibility for your own life.
There's a simple solution to all of this. Let's just have a one-time 'get out of jail free' card. We'll divide the country into two regions, and people can choose which place they want to live: the place where you agree to live as part of a community and share some of your wealth if you have more than you need, and Texas.

There's already a place where people who have more than the absolute minimum they need to consume 1900 calories/day are ordered by the government to share everything leftover with the boards of directors of AT&T, CBE, Waste Management Inc., and the Sears corporation. It's a magical utopia where the ruling strongman is changed every few years, not by an election, but by a group of armed men storming his office and throwing him in prison (no, not Nicaragua ... Illinois!).

Is this why you shop Kohl's and not Sears?
