If a US corporation sells information enabling the enemy to build up arms, it then forces the US the invest in military infrastructure or expanding military.

National Security Memorandum 68 of 1950 opened up the road for Wester technology to build a more advanced Soviet Union, which it did in the 60's and 70's with computerized space age technology. At the same time NSC 68 presented the argument for massive expantion of US defences on the grounds of future Soviet threat. Corporations will sell out anyone. What? That's absurd!

BBS speaks truth. Look up "Socialism in one country" Stalin basically took a internationalist ideology, and altered it so 1. The soviet union could have semi normal relations with the rest of the world and 2. so they could explain why the revolution only happened in Russia.

I think we need sarcasm buttons or something. How stupid do you guys think I am, scale of 1 to 10? 12? 27?

Question: does "1" mean "most stupid" or does "27" mean "most stupid"?

Henry Ford was trying to move towards biofuel at the end of his life. He told farmers, the oil from one years crop can sustain a hundred years farming. Of course, this wasn't much more than Ike's warning, as he complied before and after the fact.

This is from an intersection in China. Unfortunately, Chinese media pressure had these removed. Or at least, moved somewhere else.

Why would they need so many cameras pointed in the same direction? Can the Chinese not build a single, durable camera?

They are pointed at individual lanes entering the intersection. The example taken is quite a wide road at the intersection and the flashes correspond to an individual camera.

These and a rare checkpoint for drinking and driving compose the traffic enforcement. If you break the laws to the point of likely endangering other motorists, they will send a patrol after you.

I got two tickets from these cameras: for doing a u-turn in an unauthorized place (it was super safe) and speeding. You can buy a liquid which reflects the flash back at the camera.

Chinese motorists deserve every bit of surveillance they get.
