Pope Warns of the Dangers of Progressivism

Im reading a book about a war within the church involving Catholics and the Jesuits. This book claims that the SA Jesuits are more aligned with Marxist views. Isn't the current Pope a Jesuit? Don't they have their own heirarchy. The Black Pope?
