Merkel is Chancellor of Germany,the EU does not have a President.Obama isn't even in the 10 most powerful Americans...

Well actually Rompuy is President of the Council, Barroso of the Commission. Whilst Barroso has far more power than Rompuy, both are the lapdogs of Merkel.
