English speakers always say "viva la (add anything here)". "La" only works with feminine words or nouns. "Viva la 2dimes" is incorrect, "viva el 2dimes" is correct. I remember that bam margera did a show called "viva la bam". Can t you at least ask your local taco dealer?

But "viva la france" is something i ve heard millions of times, just thought that therefore i needed to rectify any person who says it :P

I believe Peter Sellers and Blake Edwards may be responsible.

Most people working at the taco places here are Indian or other Oriental Asians. The main two "taco" suppliers are http://www.yum.com and tacotime.
