One of the most strikingly good looking women to grace the small screen here in the UK died today after a long battle with cancer.
I will always remember in the late 1960s, on Friday nights, settling in to watch her in 'The Champions'.
I imagine many males over 50 this side of the pond will recall her in the series.
Not only was she a beautiful person to look at but she really did have a good heart, returning to her first love of helping animals once she effectively retired from the TV acting.
She founded her Animal sanctuary over 30 years ago, rescuing and re homing countless animals over the decades.
Rest in peace to a truly great person.
