Dukasaur, if you got a question about making that kind of investment, then ask us. We're unable to profit from your purchase; those scheisters are.

Oh yeah? Witnesseth...

Dukasaur, you should purchase the new computer and then sue them. Oh, you should hire me as your attorney.

I don't believe you're licensed to practise in the the Province of Ontario.

I recently just purchased a spankin' new ultawidescreen laptop -- my old laptop, though still functioning, was suffering on the video card and memory, and I wanted to make sure I had Windows 7 going forward for the next few years, plus some better hardware.

I had a 17" screen laptop. I will never get another one that big. Too heavy and awkward. Was a pain to fly with, etc.

They're big and awkward, but it sure is cool for watching movies and doing anything on if you don't have a larger screen nearby! A few years back I was shopping for a regular 15.6" laptop and ended up buying an 18.4" laptop on Ebay...it was a good deal, what can I say? lol I've been really happy with it.

So after a month of not using the Metro interface, I figured I would try out some of the things it does and I went to look for apps for it. You can't download apps without a Microsoft account. In other words, the entire interface is useless and so is my computer.

Isn't Ragnarok happening in a week or so?

Ragnarok has been cancelled. Apparently the Aesir are fed up with Marvel Comics taking liberties with the paths to the Nine Worlds, and have moved off to find a Tenth.
