I have trouble buying the "If it ain't Nazis, Germans don't think it's racist" line.

blackface in germany is in the mayority not a mockery against black people,
in january kids put black face on to look like the three holy kings ( and one is black)
this would be a religious thing
in carneval people dress up like black people, but has not a negative meaning,
maybe this will change in future, i dont know
but so far it was not racial motivated, at least i cant think of it
just imagine the outcry a month ago on national tv where the mod asked a whole city to come
to the show with a cerain amount of black face people, after that show, critisism came up
so europeans start to look at it from a different angle,

of course in the usa with the history of blacks, its is a different situation
if kids dress up like hip hop stars ( underwear over underwear over underwear) its considered modern through musical industry
and not racist
europeans dress up in carneval to look like other nationals, even chinese
its not to insult anybody but to transfer the outlook , to be somebody else , in my opinion in a positive way
i dont think people think at racism in that moment

i was having a good laugh at this movie,
and i know that sasha baron cohen is not against homosexuality or against blacks,
the question is what do black people think about this movie
i can make a guess, a third will laugh about it
a third will be upset?
