And the Hobbit? Seriously? I'm sorry but it was a load of garbage.

These were the best films of the year (that I saw)
Also looking good:
The Wind Rises
Sightseers
The East
Through the Never
The genre I watch most is documentaries.
This year, Room 237 really took the cake.
Zizek is the greatest living philosopher, so when he has another movie I watch it, and it never disappoints.
The Square was a great lesson: getting the president out of office is only step 1, the rest of the revolutionary process is what is difficult.
Yay! Blackfish, yay! Always nice to see people get what they deserve.

237 was sweet. My jaw was on the floor though from Casino Jack (Abramoff) and Enron: Smartest guys in the room and Dirty Wars was eye opening. I'm a doc guy too, if you wanna swap good ones hit me up

It's great to watch if you lower your standards--e.g. drink a couple beers and get high. Worked for me.
If I hadn't, I'd probably have stopped watching it within 20 minutes.

When I record something to watch later, I find that while watching it i don't enjoy it as much because of the high expectations. But when I catch something I've been wanting to watch I enjoy it much more, even though I might have missed half of it or have to watch ads.

I know, nietz. We grown men have already discovered the wonders of forcibly delaying an orgasm.
