This seems like the sort of issue that can be self-policed by FIFA, its sponsors and football fans, without the need for people like the FBI to be wasting their time getting involved.

If the cops aren't arresting thieves, then why keep paying their salaries?

It's not really thievery when you voluntarily give your money to them.

jesus christ mrs wdk

im going to slap you like the cheap whore you are if you continue.

money laundering, wire fraud and another crime is what they're being charged with.

they have proof in the form of bank transactions and testimonies from the inside.

i don't know if this constitutes a crime but here's an example: you give the wc to russia, but you tell your russians friends the 1000 million dollar stadium they need to build has to be built by the swiss construction company of your friend, who will give you a nice sum in return.

btw mrswdk, blatter and the comitee would have gladly given the wc to england or usa if they had played their game of bribery. the votes were for sale, but neither the US nor England wanted to play that game.

One member of the comitee asked for 4 million dollars, another asked to be knighted.

As far as I can tell from the reports I've seen, the charges of money laundering and wire fraud all relate to bribes received by FIFA officials. In which case this is all still an internal FIFA thing and therefore continues to fall under the principle that FIFA has behaved in this way for years and the people whose money supports FIFA have continued to give their money to them regardless.

The people pay for FIFA don't care, so why do you care?

If you wanna be that much of a puss puss about it.

I don't give any money to FIFA so I don't care in the slightest if they rig votes, take bribes or whatever else. If any of you give money to FIFA and are bothered by FIFA using it in this way then I suggest you stop giving money to FIFA. It's not rocket science.

Im not being a puss, i just simply dislike corruption more than anything in this world. You are either baiting or you are someone I simply dont like.

Nothing personal, in fact I quite enjoy your content (but you are but a shadow of BBS, at least he backed up his rhetoric with intellect), but I have better things to do with my time. *tiphat*

This matters so much to you that you can actually take a personal dislike to me on account of me not having the same opinion as you? Man, grab a beer and go listen to the birds chirping. Life's too short.

If it makes you feel any better, the reason I don't care about this is because FIFA is a private organization which people are completely free to not give their money to if they don't want to.

If we were talking about people who hold public office then I would probably have something different to say.
