I shot him in the ass. He kept limping and going. I shot 3 more times into the ground. Later I told the police I shot the wall behind the person. It bounced back and hit him in the ass.

And what happened when the police said 'there is no mark on your wall'?

-----You would lean to one side if you got shot in the ass(right side). I let a few more rounds go off. Because watching him run and yell in pain was funny as hell. I wanted to see how much faster I could get him to move. There was a mark on my archway wall. When I fired over his head. The bullet actually went into my stove. Keep in mind I waited 4 hours for a patrol car. If there is no dead body. Believe me they(The Detroit Police) take their time. Detectives came 15 minutes later. They looked never found the bullet in the stove. I did 2 days later ,I wasn't even looking. They drove me around for 20 minutes to some hot spots. But I didn't see either one of the burglars. I have a few friends on the force. I gave the patrol officer their names. He handed me my paper work and my gun back through his car window. He said,"everything is o.k.,you have every right to defend yourself".
-----The weird thing was there wasn't blood on my back steps. Not until the walkway leading through the gate to the alley. Only a few spots down the alley. I'm guessing they had a car. One of my cop friends called me. Later in the day. The patrol officer told him what happened. HE GOES,"A Dead guy was found a few blocks from your house. He bled to death". Then he was like...just kidding. As for Southwest Detroit, it's hard to get any help right away. There are people all over shooting each other. We used to have T-shirts that read. So I'll just reiterate the standing hypocrisy here--we're okay with militaries killing unknown people, people you'll never meet (under the guise of things like "protecting your freedom" or "they're dirty brown terrorists!"), all with the understanding that they're protecting you or some such nonsense?

Basically, we're okay with utilizing violence to supposedly continue our way of life (we must defeat those snarling barbarians rioting at our door!), yet we can't utilize this same violence when real, immediate threats will actually kill you? Oh right, there's all that money and political maneuvering which justifies military action. We're protecting those helpless innocents and bringing democracy to the world! Yay!

Banning guns wouldnt do much to solve the actual problem. The real question that should be investigated, is why do so many Americans feel that it is necessary to own a gun?

Let's look at that though, the guy with the stash of assault rifles and thousands of rounds of ammo... Are those the types of people that go on shooting sprees? Are those stashes the guns that end up being shot in a massacre? I don't think people like that or stashes like that have any relation whatsoever to the people or the guns that are used to do massacres.
